“To travel by train is to see nature and human beings, towns and churches and rivers, in fact, to see life.”

Agatha Christie – An autobiography

Europe is very promising when it comes to train travel. There are approximately 250,000 kilometres of railway tracks to explore, around 1,100 medium-sized and large cities, hundreds of national parks and no fewer than 450 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Every country, city or village has its own history and cultural customs. Try the different cuisines in different countries and get to know local traditions. Do you prefer a sunny destination? Or does snow make you happy? All possibilities are within train reach in Europe!
